my story

The seed of my work was planted in me at a young age…

—growing up on my family’s multi-generational farm in rural Maine. (Don't get me wrong, it hasn't been all green juice and kale salads along the way!) But early on, it gave me a strong sense of where food comes from and an abundant appreciation for the hard work that lies between field and fork.

This passion for agriculture inspired me to explore food on a deeper level and prompted my education in the field of dietetics and holistic nutrition. Through my studies, what I had inherently known since my childhood on our farm was put into context: quality food has the miraculous ability to act like nature’s own medicine and heal our body from within.

In the last 18 years, I’ve researched different food philosophies and completed extensive training in hormone regulation, nutrient absorption, gut microbiota, detoxification pathways, metabolic health, and oxidative stress factors. I’ve learned what works —and what doesn’t— for building true health, and that above all, there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to nutrition.

These days, you’ll find me investigating the root causes of nutritional imbalances and helping my clients tap into the power of nature’s ‘farmacy’ by using food as medicine so they can experience true health and vitality.

Here’s to cultivating your most vibrant health,
