Q: Where are you located?

A: Although I work out of many different locations in Portland, Maine, my primary office is virtual. I conduct virtual consultations so you can work with me from anywhere around the world, and from the privacy of your own home or office.

Q: How do virtual appointments and online programs work?

A: Virtual sessions take place over the phone or via a face-to-face video session anywhere you have phone service or internet connection.

Q: What if I need to change my appointment?

A: Please reschedule or cancel any appointment with at least 24-hours notice by phone or email. If you do not show up to your appointment or cancel/reschedule within 24 hours, you will be charged in full for your session.

Q: What are your hours?

A: Weekdays, by appointment only.

Q: Do you accept insurance?

A: Nutrition Simplified is an Out-of-Network (OON) Provider for all insurance companies and we are not preferred providers for any insurance plan. Payment is due at the time of service by check, cash or credit card, HSA debit cards. Insurance companies may reimburse for out-network nutrition consultations. We will provide the appropriate documentation needed for you to pursue billing directly through your insurance company. Nutrition counseling services do qualify for Health Care Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). Please contact your insurance company to inquire about your Out-of-Network benefits.

Q: Which forms of payment do you take?

A: Cash, check and credit cards are accepted. Payment is due at the time of service.

Q: Do sessions expire?

A: There is a 90-day expiration on all pre-paid sessions unless otherwise specified. All services, online programs and events are non-refundable and non-transferable.
