Golden Mylk Latte

 

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup coconut milk, or milk of choice

  • 1 serving collagen powder

  • 1 tsp. ground turmeric

  • ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp. ground ginger

  • 1 pinch ground black pepper

  • Optional: sweetener of choice to taste (i.e. pure maple syrup, honey, etc.)

Directions:

Option to make hot or iced:

  1. For iced version: blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Pour over ice and enjoy.

  2. For hot version: In a small saucepan, add coconut milk, almond milk, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, and sweetener if desired.

  3. Whisk to combine and warm over medium heat. Heat until hot to the touch but not boiling (about 4 minutes) whisking frequently.

  4. Turn off heat and taste to adjust flavor.

  5. Best when fresh, though leftovers can be stored covered in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat on the stovetop or microwave until hot.
